what exactly is the local?

THE LOCAL is our own Locally Famous Lifestyle Guide that curates the faces, places and social graces of Locally Famous Businesses in East Texas and places them in our Online Magazine, Mobile App, Media Coverage & Web Directory so that your peeps can get one step closer to finding you! It’s more than just a search app, though. Because we are passionate about telling the stories of amazing brands, and because we have found some of the current search tools to be…well…stoic, we founded THE LOCAL because we felt something was missing – the emotional connection to your brand. When we married that passion for telling your whole story with our love for technology, interactive media and grass roots marketing, THE LOCAL was born. It’s one part branding and one part technology – which is right in our wheelhouse.
